Coming January 28, 2025: New Ticketing and Membership Portal!

On January 28th, the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo will launch a new ticketing and membership portal providing you with a more streamlined and updated experience. You won’t need to create an account in order to purchase a ticket, and you'll be able to select your desired dates and session time from an easy-to-read calendar interface.

If you are a JMZ Member, your membership information will be migrated to the new platform. Please access additional details in the Members Admission tab below.

If you’re planning a visit between now and January 26th, continue to use the Enjoy! Online platform to purchase tickets. On January 28th, by 7 a.m., a link to the new ticketing portal will appear below as well as on Enjoy! Online. Registration for classes, camps and facility rentals will continue to be managed through Enjoy! Online.

Please make your reservation and purchase your tickets online prior to your visit, as we cannot guarantee entry into the museum without an advanced reservation or ticket.
Stroller parking is limited and our place is small, so you are not likely to need one. Please consider leaving your stroller at home.

Special Animal Encounters

Help us feed the Flamingo each day in the Wildlife Circle, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Join us in Science Lab Two to hang with Luna the Sloth, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3:30! Please enter the classroom through the Building Block area in the Exhibit Hall.

Meet a Bald Eagle in the California Dinosaur Garden on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00.

Members enjoy unlimited visits plus other benefits, for an entire year. Members must make advanced reservations for their visits by purchasing $0.00 tickets online AFTER they have purchased their membership and received their confirmation email.

On January 28th, we will be launching a new ticketing and membership online portal. If you are a current Junior Museum & Zoo Member, your account information will be migrated to our new online portal, and your membership number (which is your phone number) will remain the same.

Starting January 28th, you will see a link on Enjoy! Online that will direct you to the new Membership portal, where you can renew and upgrade your membership, make visit reservations, and purchase additional guest passes. This new link will also be emailed to you and posted here at 7 a.m. the morning of January 28th.

Discounted Tickets

This program is eligible to low-income families or families with members who have disabilities. Tickets may only be purchased for those living in the same household and at the same address. Starting January 28th, when we launch our new online ticketing system, you will be able to purchase discounted tickets in advance and present your qualifying documentation (available in the "How to Apply" tab, below) in person when you arrive for your visit. Until then, please follow the "How to Apply" instructions below.

ACM Reciprocal Admission

ACM Reciprocal Benefits

If you are a member of another ACM museum with reciprocal benefits you can qualify for a 50% discount on our ticket price for a purchase of up to 6 tickets per visit. Please note that advanced reservations and tickets are required. Please do the following to receive this discount:

Application Process, Now Through January 27th:

Provide proof of program eligibility by emailing a copy of your reciprocal membership card to funscience@cityofpaloalto.org. This card should include your name, the membership expiration date, and the name of the issuing museum or zoo.
Wait for your confirmation email from us that we have flagged your account so that you can purchase the discounted tickets. It can take up to 72 hours for us to respond.
Purchase tickets here. The discount will be applied to the price of each ticket you purchase.

Application Process Starting January 28th:

Provide proof of program eligibility by emailing a copy of your reciprocal membership card to funscience@cityofpaloalto.org. This card should include your name, the membership expiration date, and the name of the issuing museum or zoo.
Wait for your confirmation email from us with a coupon code you can use to purchase discounted tickets using the new online ticketing portal. It can take up to 72 hours for us to respond with this coupon code.
Purchase tickets through our new ticketing portal and provide the coupon code when prompted.
A link to this new portal will be added to our Visit page the morning of January 28th, and a redirect link to this new portal will be posted on Enjoy! Online.

Field Trip Admission

Self-guided field trips are available at a price of $7.00 per ticket for school groups of 10 or more. Field trips are only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and require advanced reservation.
